No matter who will come after Johnson you cannot have a great Brexit deal, because there is no such thing. There is no oven ready deal that can satisfy the hard Brexit, NI, Scotland and good trade relations with the EU.

This problem will break the Tory party and will break Labour too, Starmer imaginary good Brexit is a polished turd lie.

No matter how you polish it Brexit always will be a turd with all the consequences for the UK, Northern Ireland, Scotland etc.

Poll:

Do you think Brexit will break the Tories,Labour and the UK?

Good to know. I have doubts that any new Tory government will manage to satisfy both NI DUP hard Brexit wishes and Scotland anti-Brexit ones.

UK cannot have it both ways. At some point any new PM must take one of the sides and make the other side very angry...

NI can easily be dealt with in the same way most EU countries deal with EU regulations. Agree to them then roundly ignore them and carry on doing what they want to do.

EDIT: I'll qualify that with an example. You are required to have an export health certificate to move your pet dog or cat between Great Britain and the island of Ireland. This certifies the animal is rabies vaccinated and has been treated for Ecinococcus. Neither disease is present on either island.

Current official advice is thet you legally require an export health certificate but the UK government is not currently carrying out routine checks of these documents.

Exactly, it's how the EU operates. The EU is famous for acting extremely tough and at the same time turning a blind eye. The EU is like a small, loud dog.

I met Steve Bray the other day. He is every bit as condescending as you would expect, but a lot louder. I was like FFS I'm about 2 feet away, a sensible conversation volume will suffice. He stormed off in a strop when he lost the debate Laughing

Also it's amazing how much he looks like Nigel Farage. They could easily be brothers.

Being loud / anti-social: 10/10
Debating Brexit 4/10

No one. We get to witness Val's epic butthurt for free. 6 years of it so far, it might be the record for butthurt.

I suppose if you come up with something novel, e.g. the chop guy from Thick of It, get a bit of following on social media and follow up with an e-beg of "...I'll have to give this up soon!" some rich globalist idiot might cut you a cheque.

Cuts both ways though. Laurence Fox got cancelled and now some rich muppet's funding him to bother [what's left of] the right wing of the Conservative party.

Could be worse. You could be a Dutch farmer. Being in the EU doesn't seem to make them very wealthy or happy Laughing

Unfortunately not. I am just doing a free public service here.

How exactly the demise of the UK will break up the EU? We are expanding. Macedonia and Albania will join soon. Ukraine too at some point.

There are literally no any facts or experts that support your statement mate Laughing

On the otehr hand Penny Mordaunt will have the honor of being Prime Minister for about 6 months. She will be a landslide with party members.

When faced with Rishi vs. Penny, it will be a landslide for Penny with members of the Conservative Party.

Therefore, Penny wins and runs the country for the next 6 to 8 months. While all the strikes and the cost of living crisis hit the country hard.

Prepare for an election in 2024, a hung parliament, Lib-Lab-SNP coalition, demise of FPTP, a Scottish independence referendum, Irish unification and the end of the United Kingdom as you know it.

Where is the problem for the EU here?
