Actually that title should say EU politicians are caught, as everyone knows all politicians are corrupt. Laughing

Uber Files: Massive leak reveals how top politicians secretly helped Uber

And no Val, we aren't talking about Boris or the UK this time, we are talking about Mucky Macron and others....

Thousands of leaked files have exposed how Uber courted top politicians, and how far it went to avoid justice. They detail the extensive help Uber got from leaders such as Emmanuel Macron and ex-EU commissioner Neelie Kroes.

Oh Val, I feel for you. It must hurt terribly to be let down by your leaders. Laughing

In reality I do not give a sh1t but it will be nice seeing Macron squirm. Thumbs Up

I bet the RMT were pure as the driven snow and only lobbied publically and on record during the same period.

The City of London actually has its own representative permanently in Parliament. They're the only person other than elected members who are allowed such access.

Val's special. Here's a guy who left the UK to go and throw German helmets at the Russian hordes, and fend them off with broomsticks Wub

Afrexit is an abbreviation for “African exit.” It refers to an African Parliamentary appeal for the African Union to engage in a campaign of organised non-cooperation with the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), and eventually exit from the body in 2023 if the world’s highest security institution fails to reform.

Africa may be ridled with corruption but then look at how ex colonial powers have operated there since their empires fell. We've supported any nasty little warlord who would sell out their own people for generations. I don't think all African politicians are corrupt though or that corruption is inevitable because of some in built overwhelming cultural background. In fact I think such a view would be easy to see as racist. I do think the UN has let Africa down though by not calling out the ex colonial powers on their relationship with their former colonies. It must be bloody hard to be a political person in one of these countries and engaged in doing good for your people not to mention dangerous.

There's a lot of corruption, Jacob Zuma for example. Politics is very tribal as well, various ethnic groups vie for power and favour their own/screw over others. Eg: what we're accussed of doing, maybe that's why minority groups think it's happening here Laughing

I'd just sever all ties personally, I know former colonial powers feel like they have a responsibility, let China have a go Smile
