Hi,

I have a 2014 gsr750. I used to have a 2018 gsxs 750 and i much prefer their size, sweep etc on that bike.
Ive asked suzuki and they don't have the specific details between the bars on the 2014 gar 750 and the gsxs 750.

I want to change the bars to more like the ones on the gsxs 750, slightly more forward and sporty, and i think they were a little narrower?

Does anyone have any idea about the back sweep, rise, width et that i would need to achieve that.

If you don't know, and Suzuki can't tell you, why would anyone else know?

With that said, you could get an official set of the bars you like from the gsxs brand new, or second hand from a breakers. But if the diameter is different, or the place they mount is different, or even just differences in the geometry of the two bikes, means it may not achieve the effect you want. I would recommend that instead, you visit a bike accessories shop (like M&P or similar) that sells renthal/custom bars, and ask them if you can take a few different bars outside and offer them up to your bike so you have a general idea what will work for you. You might even find a set that works better for you than the gsxs ones.

One last thing. Changing bars involves a lot more fiddling than you'd think. Cable length and fouling, sufficient room for all the controls, fitting the grips and bar ends, it's all a bit of a pain, so bear that in mind before you get started.

Absolutely spot on. It's a PITA if you need to start swapping cables, lines etc.

Bikes in the shop getting repairs, the shop will fit the new bars for me so no worries there.

I went to Suzuki first, and the bike shops, but no real help - I live in small town and not much to choose from here - so i need to know what bars to order in.

So I came here on the off chance someone has done similar and might have some advice to help me start the search for correct bars.

They will both be the same diameter 7/8".
