9 digit vin check

Hello all

I have a Yamaha bike with a matching 9 digit vin on both engine and frame.

Is there anywhere to find some more info about the bike and potentially a number plate?

They'll have a club officer who has access to the records so they can say what model your bike is based on the VIN and when it was manufactured. They'll be able to provide a dating certificate (for a fee) confirming this so you can apply for an age related numberplate.

I suspect you will have no luck at all finding the original reg number off the VIN. Despite the fact this kind of search is patantly something the DVLA database is capable of doing, they don't do it for members of the public.
