Did she ever find out he was parking in someone else's garage?

I had a colleague who had a very low opinion of his wife's ability to differentiate between different motorbikes. So he had a private reg plate and when he wanted a new bike, transferred it across. When she queried the bike looked a bit different, he'd then (apparently successfully) claim "look it's the same bike, look at the plate".

I don't know. You could ask him hes called blackiepaul on pistonheads as his name is paul black.

I'm not sure that he is still active on the forum.

I've just realised parking in someone else's garage has another meaning...

I took "parking in someone else's garage" euphemistically. Laughing

Nope still alive Laughing A nice easy run out today. Really liking the bike, it's been a long time since I've had a sit up bike. Did 3 hours and never felt uncomfortable. It has power in every gear, comes from low down. Not wheelied it yet!

I think I've landed lucky with this bike, ebay with a blind purchase is taking a chance.

Nice. You look to be a good fit for the bike.
Mine is a teensy bit small for me but that only really takes its toll on the knees after a couple of hours without a break.
Glad it seems to have worked out well for you.
Don't get too attached, you'll never get rid! Laughing

Road 5s, Osram Night-breakers and SP cans, just sayin'. Wink

Thanks,

I'm only 5ft 71/2 (can't miss the half when you're this small) and 11 stone, the Street Triple fits me perfectly, it's quite low so I can get both my feet firmly planted.

I've ridden it for 5 hours in total now and can't seem to find anything I don't like about the bike. Maybe the exhaust heat on the leg, but not so bad to cause concern, It'll be good in the winter. Brakes work very well, it's got steel braided brake lines. Gears are easy and smooth.

It's hard to imagine anyone not enjoying one of these bikes.
I'm 6' 2", and I had no problems with its size. It even actually had slightly more leg room than my Fazer.

Yeah, this is why I didn't click with mine at first. Because it did pull from low down, I was lazy with it, being used to the litre bike. Even wondered for a little while whether it was worth keeping alongside the bigger bike, which obviously had even more on tap without using the revs. It was only as I started to keep the ST on the boil more that I discovered the real fun factor! Wish I could have afforded to keep it too tbh.
