Hopefully it works out. I loved mine and regret parting with it. It just did everything well enough and a few things exceptionally.

It depends what you mean by everyday but I used to commute an 80 mile round trip on mine a few days a week in the summer and looked forward to it

Somehow I avoided a ticket too, but you'll have the devil on your shoulder every ride!

Had it out this afternoon for a couple of hours on some country roads. I've been used to riding faired bikes so it was fairly blustery at 80 or over. Runs very well. You have to watch what your doing with the throttle or it'll throw you on your arse. Nearly pulled a wheely when I first turned the throttle Laughing I've never done a wheely or even ever want to Shocked There's a good chance I might get the wheel up on this.

More than anything it is so light and flickable. Has enough power and acceleration for quick overtakes.

I think it sounds fine with the standard cans, loud enough for me anyway.

I had Leo Vince cans on mine. Very light, very loud and meaty and looked really good I thought, loved them.

For me, it was about owning my last hooligan bike. And what's a hooligan bike if it's going to be quiet? And they sound the nuts with decent cans, what with the intake and transmission sounds added in, all coming to a crescendo as you wind it on. Never had another bike that sounded quite like that.

Put the cans on, you wuss! Laughing

I always promised myself I'd get myself a street triple when they got down to £3k but since having kids, I've been banned from bikes.
This thread is tempting me to rebel.

Far be it for me to encourage behaviour that could end a marriage, but a Street Triple might be worth it Laughing

Funnily enough I had a boss who did this. He had the cars his Mrs knew about and a few more she didn't know about.
