Need to do an oil change, would this stuff be a bad choice for my bike?

https://www.halfords.com/motoring/motorcycling/oils/halfords-bike-oil-10w-40-part-syn-motorcycle-oil-5l-463054.html

Oil is oil right? Anybody use cheapy stuff or should I just go something more expensive?

It's API SG which is the minimum spec for your bike so it'll be fine.

A coworker had a Kawasaki ZRX1200R. When he passed 200,000 miles, I asked him what oil he used, half expecting him to say that he used synthetic oil of one persuasion or another. I was shocked when he said, "the cheap stuff".
"What do you mean by that?" I asked.
"Anything that's on sale that meets API and viscosity recommendation." was his reply.
When he passed 300,000 miles, I asked him what sort of failures (unscheduled maintenance) he had experienced.
"New wheel bearings and a new radiator." was all that he said.

His commute was 50 miles one way; 100 miles a day, 500 miles a week. He had several bikes, but the ZRX was his favorite. I think his was a 2002 or 2003 model year. I retired in 2015, for all I know, it's still going.

I stick whatever semi synth is on special offer in my four strokes, which has included Halfraud's finest in the past.

No Complaints.
