It is not possible for kids to express themselves fully without having eleventy seventy eight genders to choose from?

Are there any otherkin amongst the alphabet soup?

Should kids be allowed to think they're a cat and behave like a cat when they're at secondary school? Or should they be told to stfu and stop meowing or hissing or whatever other stupid behaviour tumblr and tiktok have told them is acceptable?

There's probably a bit of peer pressure or desire to fit in, but youngsters are pretty unsure of their identities and test various options until later age anyway. I reckon if you leave them to it they'll do just fine and resolve their identities themselves.

The former under the guise of the latter from what my kids tell me. Children just dont have the wherewithall to make these kind of calls. Tough line to tread with my boys - have told them to be tolerant, appreciate differences and not to succumb to the modern desire to categorise everyone in terms of sexuality.

Of course it's not just schools. The media would have you think straight, white men are a dying breed.

Whereas my kids (wide range of ages) are either meh or completely unaware apart from saying he's a boy because he has a willie (6 year old)

Eldest is at uni doing politics, current affairs and international relations, considers himself to be male heterosexual. Has never complained or even mentioned that sort of thing being brought up.

Middle is doing drama, definitely thinks of himself male and heterosexual. Has noticed trans peers but no fucks are given.


After you misogynistic comment about women should be bringing up children are you sure your kids aren't saying what you want to hear because of your own prejudices?

It really wouldn't take much to give him the idea that his willy means he's still got lots of different possibilities and everyone is different.

Now let's watch some videos on your tablet and it won't take much for youtube to start recommending all sorts of weird and wonderfully progressive videos about how he can express himself with his choice of gender.

What's more terrifying, the idea of him being brainwashed into exploring his gender identify as a way of expressing who he really is or the idea of him being brainwashed into thinking otherkin is a possibility for him?

TikToks a sewer. A client showed me some stuff directed to them and my service had to contact TikTok to flag up abuse of vulnerable adults. There's hordes of clearly vulnerable people attempting to socialise but in fact exposing themselves to risk of harm. Its sad watching someone with a learning disability who has no understanding of how people are taking the p"55 out of them clearly hooked on tiktok.

That wasn't misogynism - we were discussing population decline in the western world as far as I recall. Having more babies happens to be a solution there Wink Just so happens that female education and their greater presence in the workplace correlates with lower birth-rates.

My own personal prejudices? I have no particular dislike for any groups. I do have a dislike for the way in which we categorise people with letters and + signs. Seems dehumanising to me.
