Hi

https://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/berkshire/3700664.stm

Basically Reading bus drivers are threatening to strike due to the speed humps that the council have littered the road with.

All the best

Keith

Nice one, i hope this means the council will start ripping their speed bumps back up because as we all know they are bloody annoying.
Perhaps if the bus drivers kick up enough fuss then maybe they will pull more speedbumps up...better news for us eh Smile

Hi

Cracked the sump on the local humps in the car. 75mm tall speed "cushions" are a pig with 55mm of ground clearance.

All the best

I hate them. Especially driving lorries, I wouldn't mind so much if they weren't built like the north face of the eiger! A gradual ascent would be so much easier!

I keep meaning to get a sumpguard for the car, especialy for when I go to tesco, I have to go in first gear and slip the clutch to slowy drive over the thing. There are also some other nasty ones near our house as well Mad

Only any good when you have some ground clearance. Loosing another 10mm of ground clearance does not appeal.

All the best
