Yes, you've guessed it. I dropped her Sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
I had the disk lock on and forgot to take it off. Put her into first gear and you know what happend next. Embarassed
Got a colleague to help me lift hr bak up and on my way home I noticed the ABS light was on. It used to turn off, but not this time.
I think the disk lock realy hit the ABS area.
ShallI take off the senor and check, clean?
Any ideas?

The area where I beleieve the disk lock had wacked against the ABS sensor area.

unlucky mate. A lot of us have dropped bikes for just as daft reasons. I would inspect the area closely, maybe the jolt has bent the beacket and moved the sensor away from the pick up ring so it cannot "see" it anymore.

Does the abs light go off when you first start the bike like it did before the incident?

Think so Nobby "It used to turn off, but not this time."

Doesn't the ABS light normally go off after you've got 10mph or so? Have you tried riding it slowly?

Sensor probably damaged. But may also have bent the sensor hanger, the sensor ring (with all the little cutouts), the disk itself, or some combination of all 3.

Most of us have done it at some point. Best advice for avoiding it in future is -
a) Get one of those bright coloured lanyard things and attach it through the disk lock at one end, and onto your front brake lever at the other, to remind you.
b) Wherever possible, park nose in to the kerb. If you forget the lock, when you go to leave and you're walking the bike backwards away from the kerb, there will be a clonk, but your feet are already down, and you probably won't have bent or broken anything.

I'm just gonna take it out and if it's bent, gonna lightly use a hammer to bend it back. Clean it and fingers crossed

Imma gonna guess the sensor is fine just knocked out of alignment
there should be a small air gap between the sensor and plate
too close and it will lock in one state
too far away, ditto
also the sensors detection area needs to be as central to
the cutaways in the plate as possible

The lesson to follow from this is 'if you are going to lock up the front wheel make sure it's not going to fuck up the abs if the wheel moves'

I learnt how to ride a bike without abs so I'd just remove the abs bulb and the obvious abs stuff on the wheels so the mot person doesn't know its supposed to have it.

Cast ally hanger. It'll most probably snap.

I'd be very surprised if that hasn't bent the carrier also. Does the brake lever pulse when braking now?

Invest in one of these before you fuck up anything else.

I drop my bikes all the time, ocht well. secret is to buy an older bike so it doesn't show so much. On your topic i would take the bike to a decent mechanic to fix. Fucking about with ABS and the braking system in general is something I wouldn't do. It might only take him 5 mins to confirm fault and repair.

Then again I'm a lazy sod.

If it is just the bracket bent, you might be able to get one as just that part if you're lucky (as opposed to included with the sensor). Get the front wheel off the ground and spin it to check the disc and ABS ring - it should be visible if it's been distorted. You could potentially hold the sensor near the ring and get someone to spin the front wheel - it's usually only 5mph really that's needed to turn it off so you might find you can spin it by hand easily enough and experiment to see if the sensor is OK. A few things to try there . . .

I have an alarmed disclock so if I even jumped on the bike with it on, it'd make a right racket.

How did you get the picture to embed in the chat? I’m currently sharing via Google photos.

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw/AL9nZEWQ4sngJ85UwmqgH3-xf0kctvhJMbDsNxcCu-3tMV5XJ7T-vh2nDj-TtiFiFsieIHF-cVzvhCXkQe3kruyMUrTCLf2rhTFyH1JIRjh7FBEUxvWSRAnzH1oKUvs7zMS2tdXQMl4zzX_fWjZX44Ylu10=w1174-h880-no?authuser=0

This doesn't look properly aligned to me, which implies the sensor bracket is bent, but I'm honestly guessing on the assumption that the sensor should be pointing at the middle of the slots in the sensor ring, and not centered on the outer edge. I've never had a bike with ABS so it is just a guess.

Did you try ThunderGuts suggestions?
