Picked her up 2 weeks ago as a non runner, previous owner had her stood for 2 years after buying her off someone who's had her off the road since 2017 Shocked . It was a gamble for sure but for £350 I couldn't resist. It'll be my first bike for 8 years and my first suzuki.
After getting her off the back of a mates van and into my garden, I checked the battery and connections. Battery was in a recoverable state of charge and after a overnight top up and a thorough clean of the battery connecions she was cranking over. Perfect Thumbs Up

As she was completely empty of fuel with a fair amount of rust inside the tank I made sure she wouldn't start but the fact she cranked was a positive.
The fork seals where absolutely shot to bits and the forks fully compressed just pushing her up the drive so they needed to be rebuilt. Seals where ordered and I went for 15w castrol oil.
I also made longer fork spacers from some 32mm pvc pipe to add some extra stiffness to the forks. A well known mod apparently for these bikes.
