Having had enough of PC's, I bought a new Mac Mini M1, the issue I have is with screen recording. On Windows I could press winkey+R and it'd screen record both sound and video from a video playing on the desktop. Is there anything like that on Mac O/S that works as well?

I can do shift + command key and 5, but although it records video there is no sound from the recorded video. I am obviously looking for a free solution if possible.

Help appreciated, I've tried doing it through Quicktime as well, no joy.

Tried via QuickTime? Ive used it to record my screen but not tried with sound p, at least not that I can recall.
