One might be able to work out a price but the value is incalculable.

They say people only come together at weddings and funerals and for today, for once, the entire world is together in mourning. How do you put a price on that?

Never though of myself as a staunch royalist but the queens passing saddened
and affected me more than I thought it would.
I know we live in a constitutional monarchy which has a largely symbolic role
and is a far cry from the 'divine right of kings' and all that malarkey
also, some of the minors were/are an arseache.

But, it's all made me realise I always rather liked the queen herself
and I will miss her.
