That's the reason they won't split though. New partys in the UK get very little shift from the voters unless they are a specific one option mob - The Brexit Party - and then they die. The Social Democrats failed and joined the Libs. That other party that I can't even remember the name lasted weeks or less.

The left of the Labour know their only path to power is to ride on the coat tails of the Labour party then take control once they are in power. The Corbyn humiliation taught them that the British electorate don't like the extremes of left or right and won't vote them in despite all the promises under the sun.

LesbianLabour not allowed into Labour Conference - reasons unknown, presume bigotry on their part as they don't fancy trans sausage?

Really? You've clearly never heard of fox news, owned by the most powerful media mogul on the planet.

There are quite a few more news outlets in America than Fox and a startling majority of them are left-wing. If you really think Trump was liked by the majority of the press and that Corbyn was the victim of a media smear campaign then there's no hope for you, objectively.

I'm a member of the British public and I wouldn't even put him in charge of buying biscuits for the tea break.

Reform UK? They're still going, but get little media coverage. They might well get my vote. It doesn't happen overnight, that's true, but Labour is never going to get elected with this schizophrenic divide. Their very existence is becoming pointless.

The overaching labour party members voted for him, it was the parliamentary group that didn't like him.

Complete opposite of sunak, the tory parliamentary group preferred him but it turns out that Daily mail and express readers prefer Truss.

As if any of the readers of those rags would ever be in a position to take advantage of the removal of the hhighest tax bracket.....

Another day and not a policy peep out of Labour. Mind you, their best policy is to shut up, close the conference down and let the Tories do the work for them. Rolling Eyes

Isn't that always how it goes...elections not won, but lost?
