A very stripped back motorcycle with reasonable specs (for the money.) I still reckon there's an opening for a hybrid between the eBike and electric motorcycle.

For reference, my Royal Enfield has a better 0-60 time.

Smells like disappointment. It's all form over function. We've had about 150 years to decide what the best shape for a motorbike is. This is not it. You could argue the lack of a motor changes it but in reality, for mass centralisation, battery goes where the motor normally lives.

No fairing. Nowhere to put your shopping. No ability to carry a pillion. "Seat is a rapist".

You want to sell electric motorbikes, make them look and function like a motorbike, not a Star Trek shuttle craft.

It is cheap though (for an electric motorcycle.) But yes, why not start with a racing or touring bike? All plastic fairings anyway so stash the motor and battery under there.

Indeed. The hub motors seem clunky and inflexible too, not to mention adding a huge amount of unsprung weight. I don't know why there aren't more chain/belt drive ones, then you could use existing and well researched componants for the rolling chassis. No R&D required, just add bracketry. There's loads of room because even a huge electric motor only takes up the space of a gearbox leaving the space for the fuel and the rest of the engine for battery/electronics. You can even fill in the less aerodynamic bits of fairing because there's less requirement for airflow into and around the motor.

I reckon the old TZR250 chassis would be perfect for this, nothing not to like about it. They fitted a variety of motors to them over the years and there are even bolt-on bottom frame rail designs out there if you're not using the motor as a stressed member.
