Not my cup of tea and will probably cost you a kidney but I suppose someone will buy it.

The engine is a water-cooled, 600cc single-cylinder unit that makes a claimed 48 horsepower at 7,500 rpm, along with 54 newton-meters (39.83 pound-feet) of torque at 6,500 rpm mated to a six-speed gearbox. That may not sound like a whole lot, but this is probably a good time to mention the bike’s dry weight—which, thanks to all that carbon fiber frame, is a mere 133 kg.

Just looks unfinished to me, like half a bike, and nothing there that really grabs my attention.

I agree with Mr Chickenstrip.
I’m a bit bored of all these single cylinder specials.

Come back Honda sixes and Suzuki two-stroke triples, all is forgiven.

And come back properly integrated styling!

So basically an SRX400 but 30kg lighter.

So an SRX400 with no rear subframe.

The whole thing just looks like a mess to me. The "stance" is like an RE Bullet but looks tall and top heavy by comparison. The styling is "classic" but there are obviously modern bits everywhere to spoil the nostalgia. It has a super lightweight carbon frame, but wire wheels for maximum unsprung weight, a gold star tank and shrouded forks. And what's with the 2000's era monitor stand glued to the rear mudguard? Who is this for?

It would be a cracking donor chassis for an electric bike. Slap a rickman faring on there.

So ugly from that angle. Its appearance might be improved by a flat double seat, with a tail end to carry rear lights, indicators, number plate. Impressively lightweight, though.

Heavier and less powerful than an early 90's TZR250. Just to put it into some context.

Very true. There are many old bikes (I've currently got one) that aren't far off in terms of weight or power, although old bikes are not a common interest. This is a Euro 5-compliant consumer product aimed at hitting that cafe racer market sector at the same time as fulfilling "retro" fantasies. As a single, it should be quite torquey and fun to ride. As far as big singles, I'd prefer a Yamaha enduro or even a Suzuki DRZ but that's just personal preference.

Not really fair to compare it to a 30 year old 2 stroke that doesn't need to meet all the modern day requirements like ABS. 133kg is probably as light as your going to get a bike these days.

I think it would look great if it had a full seat. I like the idea of modern tech with retro styling, it's certainly better than the old tech and old styling we get from companies like Royal Enfield Laughing

So they've added carbon frame etc which will put off people looking for more classic bike looks in a modern bike.

On the flip side, they've given it carbon farkles but "classic" looks, which will put off people who like carbon farkles.

Who's this bike aimed at other than people with too much money?

Hahaha you fixed my post and said it like it is.

It belongs at the bottom of the river with the shopping trolleys and stolen cash registers - no doubt about it.

When I was first scrolling down and seeing the picture appear, I was somewhat disappointed to see a petrol engine in it. That confused mixture of old and new styling could have been an interesting statement with a 1950s top half and a 2020s bottom half. The 1980s clone engine doesn't help.

I'm also trying to work out why it has a 3d printed carry handle over the rear wheel.
