I'm with you on this one. It says so much about the owners of said pets, as they clearly haven't the emotional capacity to raise real children. Thumbs Up

Another Americanism.

I particularly hate their obnoxiously coy and 'nice' way of describing swearing.

Potty mouth. F bomb. You get the idea.

Every news story headline that simply must include one of the words or phrases,
"Set to"
"Soar"
or
"Plunge"

This construction worker gets some very odd looks when he's tucked away in the corner of a new build effing and blinding to himself.

What's even weirder is how much of the graffiti in the portaloos is bible quotes or Jesus this, Jesus that.

"ordinary people" normally said by some jumped up newsreader or politician who is trying to be clever and thinks that they're better than the rest of us.

And "crisis", as in when 2 people have a sniffle and it's suddenly an influenza crisis or when someone on minimum wage says that they can't afford to buy the latest iphone and it's a financial crisis, affecting their mental health (which then becomes a mental health crisis)

I went on holiday to the Isle of Wight in the summer. We sat in a pub at lunchtime on a veranda type thing on the sea front. In front of us were 3 teenage lads, barely 18 I reckon all drinking but the one who looked the youngest was clearly not an experienced drinker. He had an Old Mout cider with lime and he was saying to his friends: "It's the lime, bro. It changes the game!

They were also trading forex on their phones and gambling at the same time. Youngster also said he lost £800 that day on a forex trade, so he bet on a 50:1 horse to try to recover his losses...

Bless.

new this week..... "Involuntary nation", an SNP invention to shame the UK for being the UK and having Scotland as part of the Union.

Also hitting the MSM for a dash of seasonal idiocy...."Triple-demic"...Covid, Flu, and whatever else can be dragged up to make the misery season even more miserable.

Love you.

Eg, as in "Love you, bye" now used by complete strangers to each other, and the likes of radio presenters

Plot twist though. My tattooist is trans, female to male. They would be delighted to be called my guy. Laughing

Someone was trying to convince me they create a penis by forcing a permanent vaginal prolapse, and engorging it with collagen until it has a comparable length, girth and shape of the average male organ.

Of course, the transitioner will have no erectile tissue as such, so the fatty tissue "sock" (as it is referred to by consultants) will never be able to achieve an aroused state. Indeed, there have been reports of some transitioners experiencing collagen leaks from their new member, which can of course be quite embarrassing. Although some partners have likened it to "vinegar strokes" - and thus it can provide a somewhat authentic experience! Albeit one that is more reminiscent of the 'Otto Preminger' persuasion, if you get my meaning.

At any rate, it's all rather fascinating and I must say, I am glad I live (and love!) in such wonderful times.

They can fit an implant to help with that.

Yes but it must be taken from the corpse of a recently deceased male, and the trans community has (for reasons unknown) developed a superstitious side. "Dead man's penis" is thought to bring bad luck to the new owner. Ridiculous as it may sound, the implanted erectile tissue is thought to develop a mind of its own in some extreme cases.
