The types that seem perfectly normal then go and do something that really makes you squirm.

On the Bearded Dragon forum I go on to get info for grandsons little dinosaur there was someone lamenting their pet had died. OK, nothing untoward about that, I got upset when my dogs have died but what did they do......

Had a mold made of the dead lizard and had it cast in bronze or something. Just gross. A bit like having your dead dog stuffed. Sick

Thing is, all the responses she got were of the 'Oh, how lovely' and 'where did you get that done.' type. Weirdos.

Actually that’s less weird than having a dead pet gutted and stuffed, although looking at it I wonder if that’s a lifelike pose. Did it always have legs akimbo?

Google ‘badly stuffed animals.’

I'm not quite sure why my brain should retain the information that a teenage boy of BCF acquaintence once publicly insisted he would wank on video at midnight something something can't remember why - but I know it was definitely Titz. Mr. Green Thumbs Up

On topic: its not so much the casting in bronze that is weird - I, too, am accustomed to seeing any number of assorted wildlife stuffed and (memorably in a small shop somewhere in the South Island of NZ) holding bottles of whiskey in rocking chairs and smoking cigars - so preservation of one's fellow critters is not a weird thing to me.

Can't say the whole owning-reptiles appeals to me as a past-time. I find that weirder than the actual preservation - ugh, shudder. I wish I could like them. I love to look at them, fascinating things, any sort of wildlife. Just couldn't cope with having them running about under my feet. *wibble* Shocked

The painter Robert Lenkiewicz kept the corpse of a homeless guy he befriended in a cupboard in his library.

Are you besmirching Plymouth's second greatest adopted son? You failed to mention that he paid said homeless guy for the rights to his body...
Not weird at all. Laughing
I wonder if the old warehouses on the Barbican, along with gigantic mural of the locals, are still there or if they've been cleared for over priced rabbit hutch sized apartments?

Quite an interesting character.

Looks like his heart was in the right place.

His art is quite good too.
