Hey fellow riders and workshop experts,

RHS indicators are misbehaving - front stays on without blinking (it stares instead); rear doesn't come on at all. LHS functions fine.

Any thoughts as to what could be the source of the problem? I did shoor up the tail and undertail with water when washing it - so could this have something to do with it? Though if it does, I'm not sure why it only affected the RHS and not the LHS.

Grateful for views Thumbs Up

Bad connection or blown bulb on the rear indicator?

Could be, but then doesnt explain the front remaining on without blinking.

You have come on here for advice and you have got it from a well respected member, for the flasher unit to work (blink) it needs all the bulbs to work on either side.

The flash-rate of thermoelectric flasher units depends on the current load applied to them. The less load, the more quickly they flash. Remove sufficient load and they don't flash at all.
