I am planning to put back on the road a Honda 125cc scooter that has been sitting in a garden for over 3 years -

I will be changing oil, oil filter, coolant, Battery and probably brakes (hoping the engine hasn't seized) before it goes for her MOT

Is there any reputable website I can get all the above items? where do you get your service parts?

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Before you spend money, get the engine started, It won't have seized from standing nor will the oil have gone off but you don't want to waste money buying bits for an engine thats got the ends hanging out of it.

What model Honda? Some of them have intergral oil filters that just need cleaning, not changing.

I'd do this;

- Check it has oil in it
- Drain out the fuel (if there is any) and put a few litres of fresh fuel in (if you take off the fuel line then you'll probably help drain off any crud too doing this if any has accumulated in the tank)
- Connect it up to any 12v car/bike battery (you're not riding it anywhere so it doesn't need to be in the bike)
- Check the ignition works and it starts

If it runs, then it runs - then you can start to do the rest.

Or if you need any more parts beyond that, this is also a good site: https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/
