There was a couple of inches around Whitby and Scarborough yesterday but it didn't extend far inland - often happens in northerly as that bit of coast sticks out into sea. Moors are still mainly white

No sign of snow whatsoever here.
But I'm in the empty quarter of the Arabian desert and mid day temps are still 36°Centipede.
But one never knows. As they say.

It's been snowing since this afternoon, we also expect -4°C to -7°C during this weekend and the upcoming week as well.

We’ve had very light isolated pockets of snow here in Norfolk.
They have then been frozen into place by even colder air and wind!

Light dusting here in Northants. Temperature is staying just around zero, supposed to dip to -3 tonight, but no precipitation forecast.

More snow and strong cross winds in the Land of Beer. In the next few days we expect the wind to calm down, while the temperature might drop even lower, no lower than -12°C though.

Digging the car out of snow twice a day does get tiring, but driving in this weather is so enjoyable that I don't even mind.

It is cold here ! -4 atm.
It has been persistent cold here for a few days now.
I went to South Walsham Broad today, it was frozen over.
The marina was frozen over!

The forecast for tonight here in Norfolk is for even colder temperatures Shocked Sad .

Decent amount of snow here.Went out for a mountain bike ride in the snow, don't have studded tyres, but got pretty decent gravel tyres. Was fine off road, sketchy on the paved stuff, but hardly any of that. Most fun I have had in weeks.

Still non here.

But driving 120ton sideways, has been fun. The fog and stuff start of the week, not so much.

Driving home in -7, with a frozen screen wash, and wide tyres, defo not fun.

Who knew when the arse end of a A3 kickes in, if you are turning right, it will do a 360 to the left, and nearly make the take away a drive through. (Brown pants needed)

Huge reinforced low trailer for very heavy things like huge earth movers and the like. If I remember correctly they
have zero suspension for the same reasons a fork truck doesn't have suspension.

Something like this...

Quite a bit at Pickering, apparently - and presumably Helmsley too. Blown down off the moors. The wolds have escaped it so far but the frost is pretty fierce.

You lot really dont know what real cold is Laughing

Average temperatures for this week, January/February it can get down to near -50c (-60c with wind chill). Snow is currently around 18 inches but will also increase next year. Below -40c engines will not crank over unless the block heater is running.

This week l have been working 1000km north up near Uranium city and they get even harsher winters, brutal place to live.
