They muttered something about braces, steamed hams and a potato when they came back.

Oh, and apparently one of them needed to wipe afterwards.

I've got a few Imperial tools now. Embarassed

I dunno which ones (apart from the allen keys, I have a snazzy box set with Imperial on one side and metric on the other), but I'm pretty sure I got some Imperial spanners or something from Hoffy's dad. Cool Thumbs Up

For full disclosure I should say I did invite her. It was my fuck up about the tools. As was explained to me in the extended cbt session afterwards......

I’m guessing that wasn’t a licence refresher!

Some of us have to do shift work and fix taps, washing machines and chase rats for the daughter.

Regarding bike being fixed, they said 10 days so I said I'd give them two weeks given the postal issues.

Regarding those who said do it yourself. I probably could, I've done other bike clutches, but I'm time poor and even for the proper guys its an 8 hour job, so for me a 24 hour job, so that's 3 days or three weeks.

As for the selling my body, I tried, but they all laughed, all except the medical student who wanted me to follow him into the basement.

Hopefully get the bike back by Friday.

It is the GS Adventure, It's done about 56k miles. but loads have been city commute and about 47 sets of lights, maybe more. Not very good on the old clutch and me trying to do a burn out on an old tyre before it was changed, GS bikes don't like to do burn outs.
