They get used wherever there's stuff that has to be removed before flight. There are also some with Attach before flight on and at least 1 company uses blue rather than red.

I used to have a collection but they all got given away as key rings to people and I haven't had the opportunity to obtain any more since lockdown.

Alpha industries coats also come with a "remove before flight" tag.

After a couple of years commuting in all kinds of weather mine is just a little grubby.
