New to riding and new to the forum. Just dropping in to say hello. I've got my CBT licence and a Keeway Superlight 125.

It's been tough going to start, but after a couple of weeks and riding when conditions permit, I'm slowly gaining confidence.

Welcome! I started off on a Superlight. Here's hoping for a great summer ahead for you to enjoy it Smile

Welcome, Pazzy.

You're going to love it! Are you going to do the full licence route?

Thanks all,

I hope to go full licence route, want to feel confident in myself on the road first though. Its an expensive venture for me!

I'll throw some pictures up tomorrow when I work out how to do it [/img]

The attachment system on the forum is a bit cumbersome so I would suggest posting them to a public image site and just linking here (with the aforementioned image tags.)

why buy a 125 old enoutgh to do a DAS ireally never got why pepole do that

Hmm.

A) You don't know he/she is old enough.
B) The clue might be in the post 'It's an expensive venture for me!'.

Why do people buy 125's? There's loads of good reasons. There's no right or wrong route through, only different routes.

for me i wasnt confident enough to do an intensive DAS course, I had never been on a bike before my CBT, I wanted my lessons spread out too, also didnt want to use up my holidays at work either, I bought a 125 to practice in between lessons, loved it

Same reason people lie about retiring when young, because they can.

Yep, it's a shame there isn't a "I call bullshit" karma option.

I regret posting. Sorry if I didn't go out and max my credit cards to get riding.

I got in to it to enjoy and perhaps commute when I feel I want to ride. I've had many positive experiences with other riders so I thought about extending that into the online community.

Ignore the haters, it's not directed at you.
