How is admin a fixed cost?

I am not an accountant, I am simply going by what I see on financial statements lodged at Companies House. Maybe I am wrong, but to me cost of sale is the summation of the costs that are attributed to the buying of inventory or production of goods.

Whereas administrative expenses are the other associated costs in the functioning of the business that facilitated, administered or were required for the fulfilment of the contract/ duty.

Distribution costs being the cost of distributing the goods.

At the end of the day, it's below gross profit on the P&L account, it's right there in black and white.

It's been a long time since I last looked at accounts with a profit. Things go a bit rust.

Has he recently won one of the 100x free bike entry comps?

Either that, or he has more money than sense

Just checked all the draws in the previous two months and he hasn't won fuck all. Could have took that grand and put it down as deposit on the actual fucking bike Surprised

Well, having not won on the National Lottery for a while, and Premium Bonds being as shite as they are, I decided to give Apex66 a go this week thanks to this thread.

Only gone and bloody won, haven't I? Dance!
First time entering, and turns out I've won about £400 worth of stuff - won't say exactly what since I don't want you lot to know my real name Laughing

Received a phone call this afternoon, all sorted and should receive my prize next week.

I used BRUN's referral code (cheers, BRUN Thumbs Up) and spent £20, spread over a few draws, so I'm pretty chuffed with that result.

So I've just bought a canny few entries to a few of the upcoming draws.
I won't deny that this is obviously gambling, but it's money I can afford to lose - it's not like I'm going to put the entire year's heating allowance into this site... Laughing

And since Omaze has been mentioned a few times - I used to work with a lass who won a car from them, worth around £70k, so it is a legit site, but the odds just haven't been good enough for me to consider entering.

(No, she wouldn't tell me how much she'd spent to win, but she kept it for less than 2 months before selling it on...)

Well I am just glad at least one cunt from here has won something Laughing

EDIT:

I've not got much skin left in the game on that site now. Bought 5 tickets for the Tiger and was one of the early bird winners and got 25 tickets free. Other than that I have 2 tickets on the bike trailer and 1 lonely ticket on the yardmaster bike shed. That's me done for this month, next month I'm only going to chuck something on if it's a bike I really like or if they do the drone again.

Could have also won a bike for £1k. Might have also just won a few bob elsewhere and was just trying to hedge his bets.

I've got £500 down on a bike tonight on another site. If I win, sweet, if I don't... is what it is.

Obviously buying 5 tickets on a draw out of thousands of entries would have to be super lucky to win. I've never won anything off a couple of tickets.

Just to follow up on this, my prize did indeed arrive on Thursday. Everything present and as described, I is very happy Very Happy

So aye, definitely not a scam Thumbs Up

I've entered a few draws since then and not won anything else though.
Currently only got entries in for the ZX-10R, will probably enter a few more depending on how they've sold closer to the draw time like, but we'll see
