That's one thing I've noticed. In the last three bike draws, two times, the winning ticket was purchased within 2 hours of the draw and the other was from a free ticket given out from early bird.

If you do, feel free to use my referral link:

https://www.apex66.co.uk/?raf=ref3410584

It will get you and me both £10 credit to use if you buy any ticket worth £1.00 or more (do a £1.00 ticket, wait for the £10.00 credit then use that lol).

These guys are good: www.fuunc.com

They're brand new so the bikes don't get anywhere near sell out!

Did you sign-up then make another account that you actually got the ticket on?

The 2x cash draws tonight were both +EV so I bought 20 tickets to the £1k.

460 entries @ £1.99 = £915.40.

Roughly 9% ROI expected. Not bad but it is a gamble in that I bought mine with 5 seconds to go and I assumed others would be waiting to snipe this +EV bet but it seems not. If they had, the entries could have gone over the £502 to make this into a -EV bet.

The £500 draw is better with only 391 entries meaning not far off 30% ROI. I wasn't watching that one as it closed so missed out on that value.

EDIT: Winner of the £1k had 40x1.99 tickets.

I'm wondering how those sites are legal.

From the two that have links in the last page of this thread, they don't mention a UK gambling commission licence anywhere.

They aren't a free draw, because you have to pay to enter. They aren't a prize competition, because they don't have fairly difficult questions to answer. The nearest match would be a lottery, particularly for the cash prizes.

You need a licence to run a lottery, and a load of compliance activities to get the licence.

They all allow free postal entry and have a question you supposedly need to answer correctly.

Not sure how well it would hold up in court as they are so blatantly gambling sites.

They don't need gambling licenses because of free postal entry. The gambling commission have openly stated that no laws are being broken by these sites.

I'm £1,000 down over 2 bikes so I'm quitting on that one. Maxed out the first bike (CBR 1000RR) and the second bike (S1000RR).

Depends if I see anything massively undersold on there but always enter in the last few minutes.

As I said, the only winner is the promoter in the long term.

These type of sites are popping up all the time but most of them launch with really shit prizes and either never take off or build up over a long period to better prizes.

However, now and again you get some that pop up and want to do decent prizes from the off and are prepared to lose a bit of money. These are the ones you want to find and get onto right at the start.

I've personally maxed out many new sites big prizes and won them. I didn't get the bikes on Fuunc but either would have been a great return had I won them.

You just have to find them and follow them and keep an eye out. You also want to make sure they're guaranteeing the prizes no matter what.
