I've finally bought a decent power supply for my guitar effects pedals. But what sequence to connect them in?
They are, in the order im thinking of useing,
Boss Compressor sustainer
Dunlop Wah
Arion Chorus
Tube Screamer clone
Hotone Verb reverb
Boss DD-3 Delay
Donner Tripple looper

Also is it worth adding input and output buffers?

Although I'm thinking of buying a Hotone Xtomp which would make all but the Wah redundant.

Cheers.

My son says typically wah, compressors, dirt, modulations, delays, reverbs and looper on the end, or before the reverb because the looper might cut off the reverb trails
Use trial and error. Smile

^^^Agreed...Wah first then Fuzz and then dynamics and distortions...modulations and ending in time based effects.

The Looper will mostly likely be buffered...so that's the end of the chain sorted. You'll notice if it isn't as tone suck will be evident.

The Boss compressor will also be buffered so the front end is sorted.

The temptation is to velcro the lot in position and see how it sounds.

Start off with the wah and add each pedal to see if you come across any issues. i.e ground hum or digital noise from the time based pedals.

If at all possible have the pedalboard and amp share the same power socket.

Once you're happy with the order and sound then velcro the suckers,

Boss pedals are a pain to stick the velcro to because of the rubber pad on the base so he got me to 3D print some pedal cradles for him.

Cool. I'll probably use cable ties.
