Didn’t know that was a thing!

Bought a new ngk sparkplug off eBay, 100% positive feedback, labelled as genuine ngk etc.

A quick once over inspection with my reading goggles on and hello, this finish and lettering looks not quite right.

Nothing back from the seller yet, hopefully a refund in order.

I usually get plugs from greensparkplug, pay cheap pay twice Neutral

Probably the most pointless post ever.

I know that you haven't got a clue what you're talking about because you're telling people to not bother with the seller and just start a case with eBay.

Anyone who knows anything about how the eBay money back guarantee works knows that before you can start a case with eBay you have to contact the seller. You literally cannot start the claim if you haven't already messaged the seller about the item not arriving or not being as described.

So yeah, that's how on earth I know. Wink

NGK have a guide on spotting fakes:

If they're definitely fake then your local Trading Standards people will also be interested.

This one had iffy lettering and turning marks on the metal body.

The seller was a bit 'Ahem, I've seen that before, i'll speak to the wholesaler, send you a free return label and refund you etc' Confused
