I'm disposing of some old kit for free and wondering who might want it
An XXL textile jacket with armour and liner ,
Medium sized Spada CE pants in a1 condition ( cos too small for me)
and some used but still useful size 10 boots

Freecycle/Freegle comes to mind but I'm somewhat cynical as the last thing I gave away
for someones 'son who really needed it' was on Ebay the next day with a total bullshit back story
which pissed me of mightily.
This was not the first time this has happened.

I'm wondering if motorcycle schools would have a use for SH kit for newbies to use?
Do they do that?
I'd happily drop if off to them if so.

Hoarder, eh?

Just bin it.

Freecycle is pretty bad - full of people requesting old records/sewing machines/computers "for their hobby" who will then stick it on Ebay.

Motorcycle schools... hehehe. I remember how I had to borrow disgusting old gloves, etc. I very much doubt that's still the case today. Can't imagine anyone borrowing gloves for a motorcycle lesson. Much less the same for jackets and trousers. I mean, even the offer to supply them to a keen but hard-up youngster would seem a bit weird in today's world. Times moved on, etc. Besides, do you really want to help the people of today? A few years ago I offered a helmet I was replacing to the local fire service, following something someone had suggested on this forum. They had no use for it and didn't even thank me. I think there's some crossover in unrelated activities and in general I won't give away anything unless my bin is full and it's saving me a trip to the dump.

You've reminded me of my Mod 2. The other student turned up with nothing: no helmet, no gloves, no boots, etc. and wanted the whole lot supplied by the school! The expression on the instructor's face was priceless.

Not at the moment they look brand new
but if anyone wanted them pre distressed for insta street cred
I'd be more than happy to sprinkle them with a selection of various body fluids and add a few skid marks for the real biker look.

I can add stale beer fag ash and sweat odours too if the vintage
effect was desired, I'd just leave it in my wardrobe for a few days.
