Yes.... No posts Exit. Rolling Eyes

Any animal that weighs the same as a small human is dangerous when out of control.

Horses are not considered dangerous and coos are not considered dangerous but coos kill people regularly.
Horses too.

Socialise pah.

When the animal is not in its wheel house and kicks off what is to stop it?
Bullets.

Tah Dah...

if anything the dogs were calm until the storm troopers started
the guys was geting hold both dogs so the pigs could not shoot them

Were they calm when they attacked the woman's dog as she walked past?

This guy chose to keep rotties (even though he was banned from owning dogs) and chose not to control or restrain them. True it's not the dogs' fault they got more brains than the owner but cops aren't allowed to shot the owner ow are they?

You think they should respond to a call of dangerous dogs unrestrained in public attacking passers-by by just letting the owner walk off with them? No, they had to destroy those dogs before the moron owner left them loose to maul a child next time. Just like they had to destroy the same guy's previous dogs, after they actually did kill another dog passing by.

My aunt used to keep a rottie as a family pet. One day it was playing with her young daugther who accidentally caught the dog in the eye with a stick she was trying to throw for it and the dog big a large chunk out of her face. Dead calm one second, big chunk bitten the next. Not the dog's fault, just it's nature, but it too got euthanised.

Tranquilisers don't work instantly.

The drugs you use in them are really fucking dangerous. You draw up the antidote first and give it to someone competant to give it to you in case of an accident before even getting the bottle out of the box. I wouldn't trust the police with them.

Also if you miss and lose the dart, you HAVE to find it because it could kill anyone it sticks into.

Dart guns need a home office prohibited weapons certificate in the same way as a machine gun does.

A taser would work on a dog the same way it does on a person. ie assuming you get good contact, render it immobile for about 20-30 seconds. Then what do you do with it? I mean, you could do what the met police did with one guy and wait for it to get up then keep repeatedly tasering it as it runs away until it jumps off a bridge and drowns? Or maybe wait until it's stood on the edge of a building and taser it?

But her dog was attacked and needed vet treatment. The legislation surrounding dangerously out of control doesn't rely on the dog to hurt a person.

The woman was never attack fact. she was tangled in the dog lead and fell over, her husband has confirmed she did not want to call police and did not . some one else did

fact you dont seem to know what a rottweiler looks like even. the two dogs in question are not rottweilers

as for you aunt it sounds like she knew as much about dogs as you do and should never have owned a rottweiler

Iv own a number of rottweilers in my life. Iv fell over em, stepped on em and none of them have tryed to eat me yet or any one else

I never said the woman was attacked so you're arguing a point never made. Her dog WAS attacked which is what I said.

As for the breed I was just going off what others had posted so yeah I do know what a rottweiler looks like I just hadn't bothered watching the video. I was responding to the codswallop YOU were spouting.

Also you conveniently managed to ignore the matter of his previous dogs killing another dog and having to be destroyed. HE wasn't legally allowed to own any dog - rottweiler or otherwise.

I suppose you also think the dogs were 'murdered' eh?

Daft001 uses the Trumpian 'double down when caught spouting bollocks' approach.

on the whole they're a very misrepresented breed. They make superb family dogs and are surprisingly gentle and good with other dogs. They got their reputation from a shite film (the Omen) and their popularity with the vest wearing miniscule brained morons in the 80s based on that shite film.

Yep, my parents have had 6 rotties over the years, all females. Lovely dogs. They have one now which had stunted
growth from not being properly fed by it's original owner before my folks rescued/adopted it, it's a rottie in every way,
shape and form but just half the size. She's the most playful, chilled dog I've ever known, doesn't even bark at the front
door, we think approximately 7 or 8 years old and she still has the joy of a puppy. Oh and she's best friends and I mean
tweedledum and tweedledee close with one of my mums cats, They are proper little mates and snuggle up together
and groom each other when they aren't bowling around the house like Ronnie and Reggie Kray.

The Orange Hooligan is at least entertaining when he does it - the recent CNN "Town Hall" will go down as a classic example Smile

Dog people are of course going with "why shoot the dawgs?!" people people are with "fuk about, find owt" and the only consensus would be "the police fucked up" regardless of how they resolved the situation Sad

As far as I know, it's not an offence to shoot a dog as long as you do it using a firearm you are allowed to have in a place you are allowed to discharge it and providing you do it without causing unecessary suffering to the dog. Farmers shoot peoples dogs all the time if they are caught in amongst livestock.

It's a civil property matter so if you shot someone elses dog without good reason, you'd potentially be liable for the value of the dog plus a potential claim for additional emotional trauma to the owner etc.

In this case, that would be a hard sell because the guy was banned from keeping dogs in the first place.

I'd rather watch them ride the minimal current lightning like that cunt did.

I bet he was flopping around like one of the fish in the canal if it got dumped on the towpath.
