definitely do away with some of that gravel, and you might have a chance pivoting off the side stand, but doesnt looks great, and a bit of an arse having to do that every time

Wheres abouts are you based? maybe theres someone not to far away with an r1 or similar that can come over and try? That or a test ride from a local dealer and nip home?

Better than asking the internet cause you get daft fuckers like Dave001 reply.

Thanks for the suggestions! I’m going to rule out wheelies, knitting, unicycles and C90s and opt to move the fence back a bit and slab that corner to give me a chance. Been to see a R1 this afternoon at a dealer and forgot how crap the turning circle is. But.. I loved it and will love it more after a test ride i’m sure so where theres a will theres a way. They kindly offered to bring it round in a van if it got to the stage of buying it - so if it fits I keep it if it doesn't they will take it back. Very kind service. I will make sure it fits !!

Is this the 'stuff' that's never going to be used again but she won't get rid of? When wifie puts that sort of 'stuff' in the garage I wait till bin day and than bag up and send it on it's merry way to landfill. She hasn't missed anything yet. Cool
