You blamed left wing media. The Telegraph is being quite scathing about it and that hardly left wing media. Do you think that the telegraph would blame the tories for the fiasco if they could blame the bank of England instead to protect their beloved Tories?

Quite frankly you have no clue what you are wittering on about.

Well you got me there, it wasn't just the left wing media......if you really consider the Telegraph as right wing...maybe once it was.

So come on, any more witterings from your mind to show us your working out?

If you don't consider the Telegraph to be right wing.....

How about the Sun instead?

You do know that the Telegraph has endorsed the Tory party in every election since 1945?

Seems to be pretty right wing to me.

How about the Daily Mail reporting Kwasi Kwarteng's own comments on it?

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11523045/I-blew-mini-Budget-Kwasi-Kwarteng-admits-Ex-Chancellor-regrets-45bn-tax-cuts.html

Quote:
On September 23, Mr Kwarteng announced the biggest raft of tax cuts for half a century.

Using more than £70 billion of increased borrowing, he set out a package which included abolishing the top rate of income tax for the highest earners and axing the cap on bankers' bonuses, on top of a massively expensive energy support package.

The mini-budget triggered turbulence in the financial markets, sending the pound tumbling, forcing the Bank of England's intervention and pushing up mortgage rates.

Two days later, Mr Kwarteng signalled more tax cuts were on the way, spooking markets further.

Again, that's media regurgitation and an attack on a back person. You have nothing other than that to give.

So, as you clearly don't understand economic policy and the markets, where are you getting your opinion from?

Mr Kwarteng added: 'People got carried away, myself included. There was no tactical subtlety whatsoever.

'My biggest regret is we weren't tactically astute and we were too impatient.

'There was a brief moment and the people in charge, myself included, blew it.'

Thats a direct quote of what he said and he said he fucked up. This is hardly regurgitating left wing media.

So... did we discover the relationship between interest rates and migration? I have to admit nodding off half way through...

On the bright side when the economy of the UK finally implodes (e.g. the debt spiral unwinds mid way through the next Labour government. Hint: buy gold) all the mercenaries will bugger off home.

Greece boat disaster: Up to 500 people still missing says UN

I'm sure the pc people are going to howl but that's 500 not coming to the UK, excellent.

And before all you whiners get really upset, I do not know the majority of the 8 ish billion of humans on this planet and couldn't give a sh1t about them. If they die, I really do not care.

Last time I said something similar I was accused of being a psychopath. Self preservation is not morally evil. How can you help others in the future if you don't look after yourself in the now?

Well Merkel was the one telling migrants to come to Europe. NGOs are the ones providing taxi rides encouraging human traffickers to a) operate in the first place and b) send out overloaded boats banking on them being rescued.

Combine that with the whole myth about these people being penniless migrants, I'm not seeing why I should be particularly sympathetic.

Anyone who thinks that this is acceptable has a massive problem with their attitude and views.

That's me! I'm of the opinion that 20 something "child refugees" will take one look at the murals and be absolutely certain this country is a soft touch.

Now the question is: what are you gonna do about it?
