You may have heard of people fraudulently changing the name on the V5 to "Sadiq Khan" but keeping the same address. What the plan is when the bailiffs turn up... don't know Smile

This has gone one step further and people are "gifting" Genghis their old cars and putting the address down as TFL headquarters. This time all the fines, etc. go to a completely different address. Obviously it'd take a judge 5mins to look at the previous owner details but it would be delicious if thousands of V5s showed up at TFL and imagining the bureaucrats running about in panic Smile

In theory then Khan can apply to scrap your car. I think it's better to sign your car over to your pet dog or cat
and use your surname. Last time I checked animals couldn't read and can only open letters by chewing them to
pieces. When the summons comes to Felix Smith imagine the magistrates surprise when a cat turns up to face
charges. Laughing If a dog can keep a squeaky ball, a water bowl or collar which you as their owner bought and
therefore own, I see no reason why they can't keep a Citroen Berlingo either as far as the V5 is concerned which
states clearly that the registered keeper is not necessarily the owner. And before you call me a loon, people leave
huge sums to their pets when they die sometimes. If that's legit why can't you gift title of your car to your pet also?

Trouble is, Khan hides behind the system, so he can do what he likes, and personally nothing comes of it

This is why the whole country is up shit creek, there is no personal ruining for making an utter mess of things.

Boris etc the same

Amazing really, even though they're insulated by expenses, they cant get away from driving over the pot holes in the road, paint peeling at train stations , surely alarm bells must be ringing that the whole country looks like a tramps nest

I take it you've not enjoyed the soft suspension in a chauffeur-driven car Wink

I've heard the suspension in an armoured £300k bulletproof Range Rover is sublime.
