I have an obsolete bike a Cougar 100cc and I need a front drum brake cable as the existing one has snapped.

I have tried 7 different cables to try and get a replacement but none fit, or come close, is there anyway of reattaching the screw part that goes to the drum to the actual cable? Or a way of getting a cable made?

Trying to sell the bike but has a snapped cable, I have tried one of them screw on attachment’s but it comes off as soon as I press the brake

The threaded end adjusters are crimp on so you need a special crimping/swaging tool to do the crimping.
