I haven't stopped by in a few months, I had half an hour spare and rather than develop a tiktok addiction I figured I would see what drama Hellkat is advising on these days..

I found no cringey embarassing confessions to laught at, no Hollyoaks drama kicking off or secret office affairs - instead there are 2 threads on insurance, 1 on brake pipes, 1 on suspensions and 1 on house DIY equipment!

Do people not scroll the homepage to find "the workshop" or "random banter" anymore? Place has gone soft. Eh?

Well you *could* try the "Men's health" thread.

Its interesting, occasionally humorous, and actually a place where the chaps have decided they can be terribly *open* about their various illnesses without fear of being castigated for lack of machismo - which is really pleasing to see. Men *need* to talk about their illnesses rather than avoid the subject, and sometimes seeing that someone else has something similar (or worse!) helps.

Those of us ladies who are still here tend not to interfere in the discussions. I tried for a while not to say anything, just to read-and-note what was being said (although there have been times I've had to stick my oar in ...! Laughing ) - in fact I've not read it for yonks.

The birds (such as we are) haven't really got a health-thread of our own - seems that it just works really well for the boys.

But yeah - some of the other posts in Auntie BCF could go in other forums, but nobody really cares enough to dig people out about it.

Mens health hasn't seen a new post in a while, I'm trying to not make it a personal diary of my own trials and
tribulations, I've probably blathered on in there quite enough but in all honesty I could have made an entry most
days. It's a good thread, posters are taken seriously, piss taking is minimal.

Laughing worked out pretty well for the big boys ey?

Now I feel old.
I guess that's partly because, thinking about it, when I were a lad there wasn't mainstream social media.. Facebook was still finding its feet when we setup that delivery brilliance and Instagram didn't exist, but now everyone has these story/reels functions.

Still doesn't excuse the numpties that do show up posting in the wrong area Rolling Eyes good to see you bimbling along Jen.

One section that was aye good for a shoofti was F&FWs.

Not enough angst, testosterone/progesterone flowing through the forums now for much to make it in there.

MDF 4x2 was popular in there.

They ruined it when it was no longer a free for all in here, which was a shame and now nobody cares to post because it is about motorbikes or something now. Rolling Eyes Laughing

I'm confused.. the categories didn't change?

You have to scroll past the right ones to get to Aunty?

Did the mods get bored of moving threads and leave the idiots to it? Laughing

BTW Rob I didn't give up, I took a few years to learn different bits about what I want the broader delivery strategy to be and how to beat the big guys before they can adapt.
You'll notice none of them have changed their business model in 10 years, none of them do anything different to the others either.
They are all still fighting for the same customer base we helped wake up.

Who wants to settle for the basics? Twisted Evil
We're starting with a cash for clothes thing, where a delivery person on an ebike shows up to deliver whatever conveniences you order from town, then collect your unwanted clothing, takes the bag away and you get paid when it gets weighed back at the shop.
The likes of Depop/Vinted/Music Magpie/Rent the Runway are going to love feeling the goalposts move. Karma

That's a losing battle for everyone.

Drones are terrible as a commercial tool for the economy.
