I left my keys in my bike while I was at work.

I had a disk lock on it, but the key to the disk lock was with the key to the ignition, which was in the ignition. Came out of work 3 hours later, VERY LUCKILY to find the keys still in the ignition.

on the subject of me doing stupid things, I've left the petrol off twice, it doesn't get very far without the petrol on!...

I called my dad to pick me up from work as I thought my bike was dead, he got all the way to where I was.... then I realised the kill switch was on. D'oh!!

Yep, I've done the same.

Me too. And even left my chain through the front wheel whilst trying to pull away. *Crunch*

Luckily, none of these have happened yet with my current bike Cool

I noticed an oil leak the other day. I couldn't tell what was leaking, but it was running down the outside of the breather pipes by the front sprocket adn all over the fairing.

I went to the local Honda dealer who quickly diagnosed it was off the chain. I'd left the Scottoiler on Prime when I filled it up last, so I had a very lubricated chain Doh!

Only the same as 10 applications of degreaser and lube. Plus you get 5000 miles for a fiver with a refill. Can't be bad Thumbs Up

Yeah, and it makes your £85 chain and sprox last three times as long, as well as increasing the actual back wheel bhp of your bike. Pays for itself the first time you don't have to buy a new chain.

If you raise the needle valve in them a couple of mm (by chopping a wee bit off the plastic stem and gluing the needle back on) you can run them on EP90 transmission oil which is considerably cheaper than scotoil and more appropriate to the task (I have found).
