Forks are a bit garish, spoils the look a bit IMO.

Quite like the look of these. "Modern retro" is really hit-or-miss, usually miss.

Shame they've gone with analog speedo and digital tach though, lots easier to use if it's the other way around.

Nice looking machine - trumps the equivalent from RE in my view.
and makes fair power .

If only they'd get rid of that garish lopsided tank logo..

Did it mention how much they are going to cost? Remember the RE Scram is £4,600. Just to make sure we aren't comparing apples with pears.

Ha, not yet, I'll do some digging.

kudos to RE. they seem to really know the market these days.

rumours that a larger RE classic 500/650 has just been spotted on a road test in India.

now thats a bike i would probably buy. im really tempted by the new 350 classic, but the thing is just too slow.
love the looks though.

I like them both but prefer the scrambler, maily for the cosmetics, paint job and two tone silencer. It makes it look less bulky.

Depending ont he price point, are we competing with CCM here?

In which case there's some stiff competition. Especially when it's 20kg heavier than the 600cc/55bhp maverick.

Various journalists have suggested £5k.

Odd that the ‘off-roader’ is 9 kg heavier.

It's only a scrambler in name isn't it, same as the Ducati Scrambler. A cometic excercise. Pretty much a standard lineup nowadays.

Yep, exactly the same engine, frame etc as the standard 400, but with bigger front wheel and longer travel suspension, oh, and headlight grill

And yeah, everyone is expecting it to be around the £5k mark to complete with the likes of the KTM 390 and BMW G310

Both would have looked better with spoked wheels.

Just fit a scotoiler, then it can lube the back tyre too.

Irritating cupalah fuks and a badly scripted plot.

You would think if they are reviewing a British bike they could learn to pronounce W in English by now. Rolling Eyes

It's nice but I still prefer the look of Honda's CB350 H'ness, annoyingly never came to the UK though.
