Himalayan rider needs help

I don't know if any members have been on a Nathan Millward adventure based in North Devon, I have and it is a good experience, however things didn't go well for a rider in France, he is now in a hospital in France with a broken spine and paralyzed from the waist down.

No insurance?

I believe he has medical insurance to cover the treatment in France and also the costs of being brought home, the money is for when the problems at home start, converting the house, wheelchairs, special equipment, therapies and so on.
I thought it might raise five grand, but last night it was past £26K.
