Given how crap a lot of output from Hollywood is does it matter? On the other hand given the massive demand for quality entertainment does big Hollywood need to recognise it needs these people?

tv shows a much better than Hollywood these days.
its very rare that a film comes out that i want to watch any more.
and to be honest Youtube is better than both.

Film Actors Guild?

Mind you, did I read somewhere the traffic wardens are going on strike?

I for one stand in total support of their ongoing industrial action until the government 100% complies with their pay demands.

I sit on planes a lot and look for something I can watch in their selection of films.
New Releases are fecking dire.
It's like they are making films for people who are still living in theb50s and 60s. Or Bollywood.

I have stopped watching almost every new release after only 5mins in.

I then end up watching a classic. Kfrom the 50s or 60s.

Hollywood has lost the plot when porn acting quality and scripts can outshine the mainstream movie industry.

I never watch porn for the script, if anyone is interested.
