Hello everyone,
Just a general question about how to go about using a moped, Do I have to do a theory test if I want to ride a 50cc?

I've already got my Provisional Licence but I don't know my next step?
I mean I know all my road signs and I know if there is an old biddy half way across the road that's a hazzord etc...

I only want to use it for two years untill the insurance comes down a bit for a car.

You dont need to take a theory test, you just need to contact a local training place and arrainge a CBT. This will cost around £100 and will last a day. after that you are qualified to ride a moped for 2 years

A CBT isn't a test, it's not a lesson either. They're assessing you the entire time you're there, watching how you control the bike and how you behave with it.
