Hi Folks , I was wondering if anyone knows where the OBDCii port is on a 2015 Tricity. Should be a 3 port plug but I can't find it for the life of me.

We are in Mexico and the repair facilities are scarce and the Tricity is not well known. I am only aware of 3 more in all of Mexico

Also if anyone happens to know of where I could obtain a service manual for this bike I would be very grateful. I looked through the Manuals section without any luck. Not even a mention of the model. Tried to buy one from Yamaha but they pointed me to yamahapubs.com which doesn't mention the model at all.

CEL comes on shortly after startup and goes into limp mode. After several (3-10) it will run with out issue until it is shut off again.

Took it to a Mexican shop and they changed the spark plug (with the wrong one) so we tried a different shop and they changed the spark plug (with the wrong one)

Any help would be immensely appreciated.

Thanks
Wildpackets

Take a look here:

https://www.bike-parts-yam.com/yamaha-motorcycle/125-SCOOTER/2018/TRICITY/MWS125-C/ELECTRICAL-1/2017_76601-76601/39/0/78235

Have a look under the seat (helmet storage) and see if there's a removeable panel. What you're after is wherever the battery is. In the surrounding area will be fuses and relays and I'd bet there's a 3-pin or 4-pin OBD2 socket around there. It may be clipped out of the way, probably with a rubber bung on the end.

Page 109 of the 2020 owner’s manual says it’s in the front fairing, which ties in with Easy-X’s part #18 on sheet ‘Electrical 1’

I'm wondering if earlier models are different. Next to relay 5 (from the parts diagram) there's a suspicious connector with a rubber hanger and spare fuse Thinking

Several starts? Several attempts at starting?
Intermittent problems are the worst to diagnose but I’d look for a loose connection, including battery and sensors. Also consider whether it’s heat-related.

Thank you for the link, I appreciate you, you saved my day <3. I'm searching for the top mobile casinos where I can play the greatest online slots. I discovered this website https://casinosanalyzer.ca/online-casinos/canadian-dollar-cad,discovering the widespread online casino Canadian dollar acceptance is a promising beginning. It's refreshing to find platforms that align with our currency, simplifying transactions and easing the entry into the online gaming world.
