I've had a Ghost-S since 2015. Still works, takes great images and my only criticism is the battery life but it is
9 years old technology. The newer drift cameras have better battery life so I hear. The curved self adhesive mount
has been stuck to my lid like shit to a blanket for just as long and has endured plenty of time at 3 figure speeds.
Not sure how you'd get a mount on a flip lid though. Confused

Are you able to charge and record at the same time with the model you have ?

If you aren't talking on cam you could be better mounting on the bars or if a fairing is in the way sticky mount on that.
The current hot action camera is DJI Action 4
Reasonably battery life and great quality.

Ive had 2 Drift something or other cams and theyre rather good. Their mounts as already said are absolutely brilliant. The biggest appeal to me is that unlike the GoPro and DJI ones they sit quite flush to your helmet and dont make you look like a tellytubby. My biggest complaint with them was that they use bloody mini USB which is ridiculously outdated and nothing uses any more, absolutely no reason not to use micro or even better USB C. I appreciate this is a minor inconvenience but I hate having to dig out a mini USB cable to charge/view footage when nothing else uses it. Apparently their new ones use Micro USB which negates that moan.

Got knocked off my bike in the dark, cam caught it all in good enough quality to clearly get the other persons number plate when they drove off. Paid for itself several times over so gets my vote.

I have a techalogic DC1 and it's pretty good. Gets reasonable quality footage front and rear at the same time. It does stick out from the side of my lid a bit and only has 2.5 hrs battery life, although can be hooked up to a powerbank or the bike and then goes for as long as there is over.

Customer support is good to.

Can't say I've ever tried, funnily enough now I have a bike with a 12v cigar lighter socket thing I'm going to give
that a try really soon and have just purchased a new handlebar mount so I can do so.
