I went to this ride yesterday. It was good fun and there were loads of bikes. Highlights were trying to stop the bike overheating in all the stop start traffic of a 30deg+ day when everything around you is also hot and doing the same thing. Here is a rare video fo things actually moving along at +20mph

the rest of the day was in probably europe's longest standstill traffic queue of motorcycles stopped on the A12 because there so happened to be a 5car pileup ahead of us, closing the road that this once-a-year biker event uses to get from A to B.....so we all took our kit off and tried to find shade on a motorway. ...which didnt help as youre surrounded by bike engines all hot too and doing a darn good impression of a radiator on full power during a heatwave , pointed at your face.
There was no air, no wind, no respite...until I saw a Burger King...purveyor of fine chilled drinks containing ice. I did that, then turned round and went home.
I'm somewhere in the video above....so many bikes... ____________________ Gone: Yamaha DT50lc, Suzuki DR500, Suzuki A100, Kawasaki z250ltd, RD350YPVS, Suzuki DR Big, Kawasaki AR125, Kawasaki KMX200, Suzuki GS1000S, Katana 1100, GS550M, Suzuki RGV250
