And now we're in the situation where people outside of the State can dictate who's PM, e.g. the ousting of Liz Truss. Regardless of what you thought of her and Kwarteng the process of their ejection was a dark day in UK politics.

They were both rubbish - my pension and likely many of yours is only just now recovering from those 2 jokers.

I do agree though - the manner of their ejection does display that its really the financial crowd who run this place. The only reason we got to see it this time was because it was urgently needed to protect the larger DB pension funds. No time to add layers of bullshit cover.

Doesnt seem to have been any reforms to stop any of these pension funds going bust either, it was spoken about that it wasn't far off another lehman brothers moment
