It's like Kixx rather than kix, Gixer looks like it's an actual word, whereas there are no double x in the english language.

Is this right? I've heard people pronounce it as Gick-sa before... which one is it?

Does it really matter?

Its what ever you want it to be whether gixxer or gixer, personally I prefer the full monica for it, the GSXR, the name it was given when it was born in 1985 not some silly nickname .

I've heard a lot of people pronounce it jicksa as well, never done it myself, gixxer sounds better imo.

I've always pronounced it Jick-sa, as the letters themselves have the same sound. GS=Jis as opposed to Gis.
