Hello
I have rebuilt my engine with a top half from Rieju RS3 125 and a Yamaha MT 125 bottom half.
Has anyone of you done that? It will fire's and run, but as soon as you touch the throtle it dies.
Could the ignition point on Yamaha be 180 off?
I am scratching my head here.
The bike is a 2011 RS3 125

I think the thing to do would be to get a degree wheel on there and check the firing point. Even if it's just the static timing.

If it was 180 degrees out, it would be backfiring.

Which injector assembly and ECU did you use?

camshafts probably different between Rieju and Yamaha. Timing wheel and sensor location differences also could be contributing factor. Worth checking out. Hopefully you can make adjustments to acoomodate the differences.

Reiju used Minarelli engines for ages, then Minarelli became part of the Yamaha group, now? fuck knows
The fact he can easily fit a 'reiju' top half to a Yamaha bottom half suggests its some kind of 'Yamarelli' engine
I think the 2011 Reiju had CDI ignition but the Yamaha?

Typically, we've been told just enough to not really have much of a clue
what he's done other than swap barrel/head
