Hi i am brand new to riding, from the uk recently passed my cbt and bought myself a lexmoto isca 125 euro.

All was going well for a week and now the left side of bike indicators are flashing very dimly without them even being turned on, if i turn them on they go full brightness but continue to blink dimly when switched off.

I have turned hazards on and off to see if that fixes but nope. I have turned right indicators on but no fix.

I have took out relay switch and put it back in but no fix.

The dash says im indicating when they are off as well but still flashing dim.

What could be the issue please help me im very new to this.

could be crap/moisture in the switch or connector bridging contacts on that side

You didn't say what it does with the hazards on? Is the left side still dim?

How old is this Lexmoto? If more than 10 minutes then there's a very good chance that the switch is corroding as Mr Forte suggests. I'd also be having at look for bad earths at this point.

Yep bad earths can give all manner of odd symptoms.
Every bike or scoot should have an annual electrical connection check/clean
with grounding as part of it but a lot of folk dont bother.

My guess is based on the assumption it's flashing at the usual 60/120 hz rate
albeit dimly
This means power must be going through the flasher relay
The output of this is held high until pulled to ground via the selector switch
by connecting it to the chosen bulbs or leds
then the flashing process begins

as it flashes normally when selected but runs dimly when off suggests
some slightly conductive debris betweeen the switch contacts could be passing a small current in the off state.

but as above, it's past the 10 minute warranty and trying to find detailed tech info
on chinese bikes is a waste of time, but they're usually simple enough to fix if you're past a certain level of experience.

As well as doing the above mentioned checks, I'd have the switch apart to check/clean contacts and see if that helps first.
A can of switch cleaner is a good investment too.
