Actually someone on the radio called it worse than a creche of infants which is probably more apt.

I was actually embarressed to watch what went on yesterday. Screaming, shouting. I almost expected someone to throw a punch which would have at least provided something to scream about.

I don't know the 'proceedures but it seems from political reporters Hoyle was wrong to allow Labours ammendment and also Starmer is accused of 'leaning on' Hoyle to get him to do that so Starmer didn't have a revolt.

It resulted in a love in between the SNP and Tories Shocked

Lunacy.

It's all about who can virtue signal the most and zero to do with getting something actually done. Do people actually think that these countries care how a letter is worded or an opinion is given from somewhere like Great Britain? Do they fuck. Too many people have been killed said Prince William, but he didn't say how many were just enough.

It's ben going on for thousands of years and not just since after WWII, thousands of years and will carry on going on when there is only one of each left.

If the world wanted it sorted, it would go in with a length of barbed wire, set out a boundary without consulting either party. The first side to violate that line gets obliterated. But the other side still doesn't get that land, give it to the local donkey population.

Israel doesn't give the faintest whiff of a fuck about what the UK or anyone else says. This is just clever politics from Labour and who can blame them? The SNP motion essentially accused Israel of war crimes, which accurate or not Labour couldn't support as they're basically the government in waiting and that would cause all kinds of issues further down the line. But they also couldn't vote against a motion calling for a ceasefire. So they slipped their own one in which calls for a cease fire but doesn't go as far as accusing Israel of war crimes, keeps both Israel and their MPs happy, and the shouty flag wavers in the street happy.

SNP & Tories had a tantrum because they'd been outplayed.

There’s a good summary on Wings Over Scotland in its usual fine style.

(Don’t stray into the comments though, they’re a bunch of nutters.)

Even if the day had gone smoothly it would still have been a waste of Parliamentary time.

the other countries dont really care which way we vote on their policies.

but we do this anyway...why?
well, one reason is the reason mentioned for the circus recently....their own people are here, in enough numbers to "cause a scene", so this is virtue signalling to try avoid a riot/killing here.

we give our opinion, so that people here dont rise up and kill us/vote us out. Keeping the peace, as always

Carefully worded so MPs don't get culturally enriched at their next constituency surgery.
