As long as it's between the lines, it's good. I tend to run more modern/Japanese bikes towards the top mark. Older bikes (like old dry-sump brit bikes), it depends but there can be reasons for running them lower.
Check your manual for when you should be checking the oil level. Some bikes you check cold, some you idle for a specific time then check, some you check a certain time after stopping with a warm engine. After running, there is often oil up in the top end of the engine which gradually runs back down over time. Also check if it should be checked with the bike level, on the mainstand or on the sidestand. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. Small capacity bike running a small amount of oil should be checked and topped up regularly.. easy to run low and then bang.
..unless this is a two stroke an you're only looking at gearbox oil, which raely needs topping up. ____________________ Now: A100, GT250A, XJ598, FZ750
