Sounds like a good little collection over the years...

My first is fondly remembered, I got it when I was 3 - I pestered for a motorbike though couldn't even ride a pedal bike without stabilisers, so I got a new BMX for my 3rd Christmas and ripped the stabilisers off straight away as my parents said if I can ride without them, I can get a motorbike Very Happy so several crashes later I mastered the art of balance, and the following summer I got a (Kawasaki) green Italjet 50cc MotoX bike (still in the family somewhere) which I learnt to ride on my own just after my 4th birthday (October 6th - hint hint Wink this week). And since then I've had an assortment of MotoX bikes until I was 12 and then from being 16 I've had a nice little collection of small bore 2T sportsbikes Twisted Evil

Hmm, I've only had a few. Hopefuly getting another soon though. Smile

Got the AR125 at 17, super fun but kept braking down.
Got a SR250 at 17 also, hopefuly to be more reliable but it was too boring.

Then I got the VFR400 at 17, which I still have. Smile

I started quite late and got my first bike when I was 16, It was a 1982 Suzuki FR50, that cost £150 and had next to no brakes and had to be bump started alot.
That was replaced by a brand new MBK Stunt in 2001 and was with me till the August when I had passed my test and was looking for a bigger bike.
I then got my first 500, a 1998 Kawasaki ER-5 A1, good little bike was easy to ride but had a few electrical problems so it didn't stay with me long.
That was then replaced with a 2000 Honda CMX250CW Rebel, which was the best bike I had owned so far, MPG was high and was easy to ride and it had style too!
I then got rid of that after 9 months yearning for more power, this is when I got my 2nd 500, a 1998 Suzuki GS500EW, which was crashed and written off 2 months later by a nice lady car driver Confused.
So I then got a 1979 Honda Superdream CB250N, that was crap, had no brakes and felt really horrible to ride, so I chopped that in for my 3rd 500, another GS500 this time a 1991 EM Model.
I kept that bike for the longest time yet, 2 years, gave me alot of confidence back after the accident and had some of the best brakes on 500 yet.
In Septemeber this year the GS finally expired and required alot of money spent on it so I am on my Current bike, a 1995 Kawasaki GPZ500S A6, so far I am loving it, and not feeling the need to move up from a 500, as the cost is far far lower than a 600!

Sorry for the life history Laughing.

First one I got was a wee automatic 50cc my granda had at his house between me and my cousin, this would of been about 11 or 12. Then about 12 or 13 we upgraded to the KX80 which scared the tripe out of me, then the MT50 at 16, AR125 at 17, and what is next? Probably a sports 400.

NSr125 > ZX6R (yes a bit of a big jump and with hindsight slightly daft but didn't have any problems) > TL1000R (which spent more time off the road being fixed than it did being used)

Interesting also to note that the cheapest vehicle I ever bought (Nissan Micra £200) needed less repairs than any of my bikes (none, it never broke at all Mr. Green) and the most expensive vehicle I ever bought (TL1000R) needed the most repairs out of all my bikes, the gearbox needed replacing, stupid amount of parts and a lot of labour) so the "save your money and buy a cheaper bike" logic does seem to be a good one. Doh!
